Katy Mendez
Katy earned a certificate in interior design from the New York Institute of Art and Design. She grew up in a furniture manufacturing family, which inspired her to pursue a career in interior design. Katy worked for Ethan Allen in Destin for 9 years before leaving to create Oak & Linen Interiors.
She understands that staying current on design trends is essential to creating one-of-a-kind spaces, and she believes that transforming a house into a unique and beautiful home should be an exciting, low-stress experience.
By listening to her clients, Katy builds lasting relationships based on trust. Katy always respects her clients’ spending plans, ensures that every project is planned correctly from the start, and maps out living spaces using the most current technological tools. She takes pride in creating interiors that are aesthetically pleasing, and she understands the importance of designs that are family and pet friendly. Her passion for design inspires her to believe that every space is beautiful and unique.
